Milk bowl with dark ochre glaze

Very large milk or cream bowl with a beautiful dark ochre glaze.
 
These bowls were used in many ways, to separate the cream from the milk or even as a simple mixing bowl.
 
Glazed on the inside with a dark ochre colour and unglazed on the outside - there is nothing that says rustic French provencial than this.
 
Perfect as a fruit bowl, or centre piece on a dining or console table.
